Some time ago a friend of mine was registering for classes and she elected to take yoga to fill some requirement. She was super nervous because she didn't want to look like a fool. After listening compassionately to her worries I got real with her. "Honey, you're going to look like an idiot!" I think she was stunned. But we laughed. ![]() Tying thing up certainly is the mantra of the season. Packages, ribbons and bows all over and wrapping paper in every design. And wrapping things up is exactly what you should be doing this time of year. In the midst of all the excitement, there are some details that you may need to wrap up before the end of the year. Investments - Do you need to review year end adjustments Savings - are there savings accounts that you want to add to (kids college) Information backup - When was the last time you did a computer backup? You can easily do a back up on an external hard drive or enlist the help of an online storage system. End of year files - Do you have a location where you can put your end of year files? You may need to slightly adjust your files for easier filing. You may want to consider an online system. You know, like when someone stops in and you are frantically trying to clear? There have been a few places that, well, it was finally their time to have a good clearing,
