Keep your tall boots looking great every season by keeping their shape when storing.  Here's some tips to preserve them so you'll be able to wear them right out of the box for next year.

  • Clean your boots and winter shoes with an appropriate cleaner.

  • Spray or apply conditioning wax..

  • For salt stains on non suede boots, gently swab a soft towel moistened with vinegar.  When finished, gently wipe vinegar away with a damp towel.  It's best to test on a small area first.

  • Gently clean scuffs with a clean damp towel.  Follow up with a with a clear or colored leather polish.

  • Keep the shape of your tall boots by rolling up old magazines and slide into the length of the boot.

  • For soft boots, moccasins or slippers consider stuffing newspapers in the bottom portion to keep their shape.

  • Keep winter items together by inserting clean hats,  mittens or scarves into winter boots.  Next season you'll have everything together and ready to wear.
