I love this time of the year. We bring out all our candle decorations and in the evening it looks all warm and cozy in the house. But after winding down after a long day and enjoying the warmth of the candlelight, it's easy to be sleepy and forget to extinguish your candles. I've done it! Fortunately it was a large candle in a container. But it was still dangerous.
Preventing candle accidents is easy to do. Here are some great tips to enjoy your candles and keep yourself and your family safe.
Tip: Go through your candle and candleholder collection and throw away tippy holders and candles with combustibles cast into them. (some content taken from the Family Handyman)
