![]() What does finished look like to you? Have you ever told your kids to "finish" cleaning their room? Are you :finishes the same? Completing a task is easy to put off. Sometimes it's even harder than starting it. Take this morning for example. I went to clear out the pile of shoes from the front entryway and brought them to my room. I was just going to dump them on the floor when I realized that I was only going to have to deal with them later. So I opened the closet, took out the shoe boxes and put them away. Now I am finished with that task. Clutter and confusion happen in small doses that add up to a big task. By completing the small tasks as you go, you free up your time and energy. Even the mental clutter of knowing you have to finish something goes away. Take the time to finish a task to completion. Even if it's something small, it's one more thing you can check off your list.
