![]() Do you have goals or just a to do list? If you find yourself thinking about all the little things that have to get done, then you might have only one long to do list. But if your list is a means to an end, then you are probably working towards a goal. When organizing, we often have some type of goal in mind. Clean out the back room, clear out our filing system, make a filing system or edit clothes. Whatever you wish to accomplish, make sure you have a clearly defined goal. Be specific on what you want to achieve. What does "cleaning out the closet" really mean? Does it mean clothes only? Or are you planning on taking out everything and putting in a new system? Now write your clearly defined goal down on paper. If you feel that you are getting distracted, pulled into a different direction or frustrated, look back at your written goal for encouragement.
