I have a beautiful tree that sits just outside the dining room window. I can't wait to see it change it's leaves from green to blazing yellow and orange. Each day during the fall I look to see if it is completely changed or not. And then one morning, BAM! It's out there magnificently displaying it's spectacular colors.
Times of transition are always tied to a lot expectations and excitement. It can be difficult to keep focused on what is in front of you. It can be like chasing a moving target. This is where organization and planning come in to play. When you stop to take time to plan and organize, you are simply "minding the gap" You are creating a sanity circle to focus on where you need to put your energy.
When in doubt of where to put your energy, ask yourself this?
What has a deadline?
What has to happen first?
What's the worst thing that will happen if I don't do "X"?
