![]() Think of all the things that are square in your kitchen. cereal boxes, mac and cheese, juice boxes, crackers and pasta. Even in your fridge your gallon of milk is square. So why do you store your items in round containers? When you look at pantry and refrigerator storage online, how is it organized? Circular storage? Not usually. Simply by using square or rectangular storage bins, your items can be neatly arranged and, more importantly, found by family members. Check out your local dollar store for inexpensive storage. Even a shoe box will do. To get the most out of your pantry space, it just makes sense to go square. It maximizes the space in your (square) cupboards and the fridge too. Notice how this image shows how every inch of space is used. And because they are clear, everyone can see exactly what's inside. Of course if your storage is not clear or opaque, you would need to label. A piece of masking tape and Sharpie marker work great. For more ideas, find me on Pintrest. Just click the link below.
