This time of year can be crazy. Lists and lists of things to do and people to see. It's at these times that we seem to burn the candle at both ends thinking and doing for others.
But what are you doing for you? Are you taking care of yourself? Taking care of yourself doesn't just mean wash your hands so you don't get sick. It's about taking care of your soul, your mind and preserving some of your energy for you.
You may have heard that you can only dip into the well so many times as it is fed only by a small spring. The same is true for you. your well needs time to refill itself before you can tap into it again.
Its ok to take care of yourself. We need to refill our well by being good to ourselves. Take time for yourself. Not only this time of year, but every day. Even if it's just for a minute. Take a deep breath. Go outside. Call a friend. Whatever you need to do to take care of yourself, do it now.
