![]() There are a lot of places where you can focus your energy. So many things are vying for your time and attention. There are times during the year that you automatically know are going to be busy. Maybe it's tax time, end of the fiscal year, vacations, tournaments or holidays. Its during these times that you know you have to really budget your time. It's about planning, scheduling and making decisions about where to focus your energy. It's crunch time if you celebrate Christmas. Do you still have a lot of items on your to do list? Are all of them really necessary? Do you really have to preschedule every minute of the season? Do you have to do it all before Christmas? Are you going to have the energy for it? After the holidays when you reflect on where you spent your time and energy, will it be a reflection of what was important to you? Where all those to do items really necessary? Was the end result energizing and worth it? Or do you wish you left more on your not to do list? What would happen if you let more things unfold without your "help"? What if you refocused your energy from "to do" to "to be"? To do lists are great tools, but the rewards of your energy should be more energy, not less.
